Hello. I've never said anything before, but with a totally new look and now-frequent updates, I guess I can't help it.
I was just a kid when I found this comic years ago -- an old friend referred it to me so I could roleplay Oriyan with her. This was back when you guys were still working on the first chapter. I was especially intrigued because Oriyan was the first webcomic I'd ever seen, and it helped spark my love for art and medieval/fantasy.
To this day you two continue to inspire me. Watching your progression through the years has been a thrill, especially since you guys are my childhood "I want to draw like that" idols. I owe a large part of my artistic passion to you guys, so needless to say I was pretty sad when the updates began to slow and it almost looked like this comic was about to die.
Now look, you guys come right back and post up a new layout with a new art style (Though to be honest I personally prefer the art style of Chapter 2), and updates every week as promised. I can't tell you how excited I am to see you two back in the comic world.
I love this comic, and the work you obviously put into it. Now that the storyline's moving again, I can't help but feel nostalgic of all the times I've read and reread your comic.
As a few final words... Thank you for the inspiration you've given me through the years, and keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the Oriyan I've missed.
